lip service --Verbal expression of agreement or allegiance, unsupported by real conviction or action; hypocritical respect:
空話, 打嘴砲; 無實質意義; 沒有行動或誠意
Examples:
That was merely lip service, you should not believe him.
那只不過是他的門面話, 你不要完全相信他。
The official's promise is just lip service. He has no intention to solve the problem.
